Cab Signal Overlay

Cab Signal Overlay (CSO) replicates Norfolk Southern’s PRR Cab Signal and is designed to be used on the Pennsylvania region in Run 8 V3. CSO integrates with Run 8 via CID output data.
The output data is translated and displays the proper cab signal aspect.

Instructions
CSO by default will stay on top of other windows. If for some reason you don’t want it to, you can uncheck “Stay on Top” in the context menu.
The context menu can be accessed by right-clicking anywhere on CSO. Click and drag anywhere on CSO to reposition on your screen.

Run 8 Integration
Make sure you set the UDP in Run 8 under Custom Device Input. Then right-click the CSO and set the same UDP port. Afterwards, right-click again and Start Run 8 Integration.

If done properly, the CSO will display a restricting within a few seconds. Each time you pass a signal, CSO will analyze it and set the cab signal aspect.

If the reverser is centered or reversed, CSO will display a Restricting.

If the cab signal aspect downgrades, a 6 second sound will emit which must be acknowledged. You can acknowledge by hitting LEFT-CTRL + ENTER.

If you have a RailDriver connected, the alerter reset button can be used. CSO will automatically check for RailDriver connection upon start and will give a result in the context menu.
As of right now, failing to acknowledge the cab signal does not put your train into penalty.
